The new logistics app reflects the ongoing digitalization process, which is specifically aimed at optimizing logistical processes. It offers you many features to take your logistics to a new level! With the already established mobile inventory recording, as well as the logistics info, the newly developed app offers many more functions that enable even more efficient and flexible management of logistical processes. And all from a single source and directly on your mobile device – whether smartphone, handheld or forklift terminal!
The following is an overview of the functions:
The mobile stock-taking enables the scanning of rolls and storage locations for easy recording of actual values, eliminating the need for cumbersome count lists and complicated processes.
The Logistics Info provides direct access to the core components of logistical transport processes. The barcode scan displays all relevant information in real time, including pallet content, storage location and QA status.
The new features include the transfer of pallets or rolls. This makes it possible to transfer a roll either to a new storage location or to another pallet, which significantly increases flexibility in warehouse management. In addition, it is now possible to add packages or rolls to a pallet or, alternatively, to remove them from a pallet. These functionalities enable more precise and dynamic control of inventory management, especially in complex warehouse environments.
One particularly innovative enhancement is the linking of rolls to external roll numbers. This function is of great advantage if, for example, the supplier uses different numbers. It significantly improves the traceability of rolls and is therefore an essential factor for quality assurance. The unique linking of internal and external numbers increases transparency throughout the entire process and ensures seamless tracking of goods movements.
In addition, packages can now be directly assigned to orders or delivery notes, which further simplifies the process chain and optimises real-time tracking of goods. This not only supports the planning and documentation of deliveries, but also the management of stocks and orders in the warehouse.
Another highlight is the option to attach images to rolls or items. This function proves to be particularly useful when goods are damaged or have already been delivered in a damaged state. Simply attaching photos taken directly with the mobile device makes it easier to document quality assurance and increases traceability.
Additionally, the app now also offers a final check of delivery notes. Pallets can be checked here before being loaded onto the truck in the outgoing goods warehouse. This final check reduces the potential for errors and ensures smooth delivery.
These new features illustrate how digital tools can reduce the complexity of logistical processes by not only increasing efficiency and accuracy, but also optimising traceability and quality assurance. The C3.2020 logistics app thus lays the foundation for modern, future-oriented logistics that make processes simpler and more effective than ever before.
