C3 administers the entire production process from basic work orders through bills of material to a graphical schedule board. Customer orders are linked to internal jobs which consist of a detailed work order and a bill of material. With one mouse click, customer service representatives can quickly view the status of a customer order with its internal job information without having to interrupt the shop supervisor. Target values from the estimating module are used as simulation and material requirement planning as well as capacity planning. The internal job contains general target delivery dates or more detailed planning information like target date by department or even by work order.

Capacity planning

Work orders use a certain resource, for example a Vutek3360 printer. All resources have individual working hours or inherit their capacity from a shift model. C3 scheduling algorithms calculate the earliest possible start date and a latest completion date for every work order. For your enterprise, that leads to a detailed capacity forecast and a better reliability of delivery dates. As a result you always get the necessary information you need to reschedule jobs or plan additional shifts.

Graphical Scheduling Board

The C3 scheduling board includes one of the most powerful advanced planning and scheduling systems available and is a great benefit in optimizing your productions. New jobs or work orders can be scheduled comfortably with drag-and drop. Various filters and views help in arranging the optimal sequence of jobs on a certain machine, for example by showing the type of material or format for that work order. In addition, all date relevant data is shown like the capacity and target dates for every work item. Connecting lines between the active work order and its processor and successor make it easy to recognize your scheduling options at a glance.
